EXTERIOR

The Yacht currently has some fairing works on the aft sections. That is upper and main deck area. Work continues on upper deck in terms of structural area that are being sanded back. As of yet, no structural furniture is fitted, sofas and such. The swimming pool is also not yet installed.

It is anticipated that over the weekend and into early next week, June 1st onward, that painting will commence. The hull section round portholes has already been painted and completed, as the portholes have already been successfully installed.

The underwater parts of the Yacht remain bare aluminium. As you will see from the main report section, the majority of the underwater fittings are installed. The water jets themselves remain work in progress.

INTERIOR

Internally, work is moving ahead at a good pace and the quality of the Installation appears good where it can be inspected.

The majority of the doors and glass work is in place with a few exceptions, this mainly being due to the need for continued access for embarking/disembarking of equipment and personnel, given the workflow and COVID-19 restrictions that have been in place.

The galley is fast under construction. The majority of the crew areas are almost complete. Head and sanitary installations need connecting but are on site.

The guest cabins lower deck are looking good. The bathrooms and sanitary features are nearing completion. The majority of the final stage carpentry is also nearing its end. Beds and side cabinets remain.

Work doesn’t appear to be quite as advanced in the owners cabin in respect to the remainder of the Yacht, but expected to advance very quickly. The beam-width bathroom is coming together well.

ENGINEERING

It wasn’t possible to get a good look in the bow ahead of writing this report due to the busy and ongoing works on the forward mooring area ahead of the planned meeting next week.

The engine room appears to be advancing along well. As the pictures will show, all of the primary and auxiliary equipment is installed, with only flashes and piping connections remaining to be completed. The Main engine exhaust connections will be made in the next weeks.

Main switchboard works continue along and are not yet completed.

The starboard side tender garage door is fitted and being held in place by ratchet straps temporarily. The initial stages of the hydraulic system is installed, hoses and main solenoid block is installed. The winch and other systems are not yet fitted.

Work continues in the beach club area. This is mostly still in bare metal stages with structural fire protection and other key areas almost complete. The doors (shell) are not yet fitted. An update on this will follow.
