Sanlorenzo reported on Friday afternoon, that they are awaiting news of a new government decree, before they can provide an updated, anticipated launch schedule.

EXTERIOR

  • Hull Topsides Painting: Owners agreed to allow Sanlorenzo (SL) an additional 20days in order to correct topside fairing issues, as reported and recorded on CO.62. This work has progressed very well during the past two weeks and Owners paint consultant is satisfied that Sanlorenzo are tackling the issues in the correct manner and in-line with the revised schedule.

  • Hull Superstructure: Owners paint consultant attended superstructure coating inspections on the 26th and 27th of October 2020. Items logged in the resulting report, now agreed with Sanlorenzo, will be properly dealt with during the coming 2 weeks. Sanlorenzo will update on the launch schedule as work progresses.

  • Jacuzzi area: Jacuzzi is now in the outfitting stage. Tiling, pipe works, jets etc. being installed.

  • Overhead panels: Exterior overhead panel manufacture and ‘dry-fit’ underway. Panels will go for painting once complete.

  • Exterior teak: Teak capping detail forward of wheelhouse in progress.

  • Bridge Wipers installed.

  • Exterior glass: Port, Stbd, UD and SD Glass screen installation in progress.

  • Upper Mast: After first top coat, correction works according Owners paint surveyor are in progress.

  • Stem plate: Polishing in progress.

  • Transom Door: Fairing works were completed in time for the door to be installed and coated in conjunction with the topsides.

  • Sun Deck and Lower level mast: After first top coat, correction works according Owners paint surveyor are in progress.

  • Sun Deck BBQ installation: Frame work in place for cabinet.


INTERIOR

Due to a COVID19 outbreak within the Duerre interior team, at the beginning of October, man power in the interior areas was been reduced to approximately 50%. For about 2-3weeks,  As of today (31th October), manpower is reported to be at 20-25/day. Almost full strength.

  • Beach club: Bulkhead support framework installation in progress.

  • Wheelhouse: Equipment installations in progress finish ceiling panels and overhead console upholstery in progress.

  • Captain’s cabin: Cabinetry 80% complete.

  • Crew mess and cabins: Crew cabins cabinetry 80% complete.

  • Guest cabins: Bathroom marble installation in progress. Bunks and finish panelling partly installed. Ceiling panel installation in progress.

  • Dining room: Progress at a slightly slower pace during past 2 weeks.

  • Owners bathroom Shower area structure complete with marble now installed.

  • Owners cabin: Ceiling panels first fit up in progress.

  • Owners lobby: Finish paneling installation in progress.

  • Owners Office: Window casings built, ready for finish panels.

  • Guest staircase: Structure installed.

  • Main deck salon: Some ceiling panels in place, with lighting installation in progress. Flooring installation 95% complete.

  • Lobby Day Head: Finish: panelling progressing.

  • UD Pantry: Well advanced, with finish paneling installed. Ready for countertops and dishwasher.

  • Rescue tender garage: Deck now painted and leveling compound application complete.

  • Mooring Station Fwd.: Storage shelving installation in progress.

  • Laundry: Cabinetry installation well advanced.


ENGINEERING

In general the engineering installations have been progressing well.  In order to catch any errors in advance, Owners team continue to pursue system and installation details from Sanlorenzo, and this has now been filtering through from their technical department, piece by piece.

  • Chain lockers: Now in topcoat, with wood cladding installed.

  • Wheelhouse: Cabling installation and termination process is now well in progress.

  • Spare.

  • Propellers and Shafts: Propellers now in place. Installation certified by ABS.

  • Sea Chest – Drydock manifold: Port and Stbd sea chest, drydock manifold installed onboard.

  • General Technical Installations: Electrical and piping connections within the technical spaces are progressing at a rapid pace now. Owners team are closely monitoring quality to ensure that standards are maintained.

  • Tanks: Tank inspections 90% complete.
