INTERIOR PROGRESS UPDATE | Q2 2022
Main deck lounge
•Safety & hazard protections have been installed,
•Deck openings for engine room provide ample access for main components to be inserted in the engine room,
•Cable trays have been passed on the floor. We have raised our concerns about the cables being trampled on in this central area,
•Joinery (Nelson) pins have been bonded to the fibreglass structure,
•External windows have been installed,
•Piping penetrations have been opened up,
•The port side balcony is in progress. This is a OPTIONAL which has been selected for this vessel.
Master Cabin
•Pins for insulation have been bonded,
•Insulation/lagging has started in these areas,
•Cables have been passed into these areas,
•Joinery (Nelson) pins have been bonded to the fibreglass structure.
Lower deck cabins
•Pins for insulation have been bonded,
•Insulation/lagging is proceeding well,
•Cables have been passed into these areas,
•Joinery (Nelson) pins have been bonded to the fibreglass structure,
•Piping is being passed through these areas.
Lower deck cabins
•Fin stabilizers pockets are being worked on,
•Bulkhead penetrations are being completed.
Upper deck lounge
Bridge areas
•No outfitting has taken place in the bridge areas
•Raw bulkhead separations for captains cabin, day head and aft salon have been installed.
Crew areas
•Vibration visco elastic plates have been installed on shell sides,
•Pins have been installed for lagging,
•Overboard penetrations are in progress,
•Fibreglassing is taking place,
•Illumination must be improved,
•Woodwork for cabins has not initiated yet.
