EXTERIOR
August saw the hull moved from one shed to the final finishing shed.
Fairing of the Upper Deck and Sun Deck continues as they have now begun to long board sand the areas for a smooth finish.
White primer paint is coated with the red coloured ink and sanded smooth to remove any remaining deformations in the fairing.
Exterior hand rails are being positioned onboard and tack welded into position for finish welding and polishing to be completed ashore.
INTERIOR
Lower Deck Guest cabin base installations continue with all showers having a coat of resin lining the floor and walls to water proof the area.
Lower Deck Guest cabin furniture has been built in the contractors workshop in readiness for installation onboard the vessel.
Main Deck Owners Cabin now has the walls and partitions installed and first fix plumbing in position.
Upper Deck Master Cabin and Bridge areas have the base layer flooring laid and electrical cables continue to be pulled.
ENGINEERING
Main Machinery Engine Room access hatch has now been closed as all major machinery is in place.
Main machinery electrical switchboard has been installed and cables are now being routed to the breaker panels.
The Gymnasium has now been closed off from the tender garage and is being prepared for a coat of technical paint to seal the sound deadening material.
The Adventure Station / Tender garage is being prepared for a sealing coat of paint on the sound deadening material.
Bulbous bow watertight compartment has been cleaned, prepared, and a coat of technical paint applied.
Pipework in the Engine room is underway with the Air Conditioning system sea water pipes.
Shaft bearing alignment is underway on the Port side.
