  • Hull works

Bow Thruster grills are located into position at the Bow below waterline.

Red dye penetration fluid is used in Non-Destructive testing of the welds where they have added scupper drain pipework through the hull.

  • Main engine and gearbox installations

The 2 MTU 16V2000 main engines have been lifted onboard into the engine room and seated on temporary mounts until the alignment procedure begins further along in the build.

The large opening in the Main Deck will now be closed and the Main Salon house block can be installed and welded into position.

The Gearboxes will remain outside and be installed at a later date allowing for Generators and other ancillary equipment to be installed via the soft patch panel in the Aft Garage.

  • Lower Deck Aft

The photo to the right shows the Aft Tender Garage through the large open hull doors that will create the beach club area when the tender is in the water.

  • Engine Room fit-out

Inside the Engine Room, the lower section of the Main Engine exhaust is welded into the hull where it goes overboard below the waterline on the underside of the hull.

The Sea Water chest is closed off and has the suction flanges welding in position as seen below inside the Engine Room, and to the right on the underside of the hull.

  • Pre outfitting

Pre-outfitting continues with the installation of pipework for Air Conditioning Stainless Steel, and deck scupper drains in Aluminium.

These works have begun in the lower guest spaces and also the most forward collision bulkhead.
