YACHT SURVEYS
The purpose of any yacht survey is to provide a concise and in-depth analysis of a vessel’s condition. This information is vital to owners, buyers, brokers, attorneys and underwriters to ensure the success of their project. One of the key issues with a yacht survey, however, is that the level of detailed technical data that results can be overwhelming and incomprehensible to the non-maritime professionals, leaving them unsure as to how to proceed with the project.
Arrow Services Monaco’s (“Arrow”) aim is to support you in your project over and above simply conducting the survey itself. We will also provide you with honest analysis and professional insight into the yacht’s condition, in a clear, concise and accessible format including practical recommendations, solutions and costs to resolve any issues found.
Arrow’s team of highly experienced and qualified surveyors are available worldwide, offering various types of survey, including:
Condition Survey
Delivery and Acceptance Survey
Milestone Survey
Pre-purchase Survey
Pre-sale Survey
Valuation Survey
New Construction Survey
Refit Survey
PRE-PURCHASE SURVEY
If you are considering buying a yacht of any size, a Pre-Purchase Survey is crucial to protect your interests. This survey will provide you with a detailed assessment of the yacht’s overall condition.
A Pre-Purchase Survey consists of:
An out of water survey of the hull and running gear;
Engine manufacturer survey;
Inspection and operation of all machinery and systems including Navigation, AVIT, propulsion and all technical equipment;
Sea trial; and
Fuel and oil sample testing from the main engines and generators.
As highlighted above, our aim is to provide you with both a Technical Survey Report and Client friendly analysis in two distinct formats, to facilitate the technical and commercial decision making required in order to comfortably proceed with your project.
3D SCANS
Our 3D scanning service offers an informative and interactive tool for Clients to virtually experience the pre-purchase process.
The major benefits we are seeing from this new service are:
Allowing our Clients to visually walk-though the Yacht as it was at the time of survey.
Walk through spaces, see placements and arrangements of areas.
The ability to add tags to items we think you should be aware of, visually highlighting the item in question allowing you to make a more informed decision.
“Deep links” that can link items in a pre-purchase survey report to “fly through space” locations, taking you directly to the item in question.
