INTERIOR PROGRESS

Main deck lounge

• Safety & hazard protections have been installed,

• Deck openings for engine room provide ample access for main components to be inserted in the engine room,

• Joinery (Nelson) pins have been bonded to the fiberglass structure,

• Insulation/lagging pins have been installed and lagging is in progress,

• Piping penetrations have been opened up.


Master Cabin

• Pins for insulation have been bonded,

• Insulation/lagging has started in these areas,

• Cables trays have been passed into these areas,

• Joinery (Nelson) pins have been bonded to the fiberglass structure,

• Compartmentation (dividing the cabin from the bathroom) is now in place,

• Flooring is in place.


Lower deck cabins

• Pins for insulation have been bonded,

• Insulation/lagging is proceeding well and close to complete,

• Electrical cables and bonding plates have been routed through these areas,

• Floors and compartmentation are being installed,

• Piping is being passed through these areas.


Lower deck cabins (part 2)

• Fin stabilizers pockets are being outfitted,

• Bulkhead penetrations are being completed.

• Piping is being routed through these areas.

• Electrical cables are being routed through these areas.

• Insulation has been installed but has also been damaged (needs to be repaired)

 

Bridge areas

• Windows have been installed,

• Raw bulkhead separations for day head and aft salon have been installed.

 

Galley

• Pins and insulation have been insulated in the galley, which will provide the required B15 insulation that is required for class.

• No further significant progress can be reported in this area.


Crew areas

• Pins and insulation have been installed on side shell

• Piping has been routed through these areas,

• Electrical cabling has been routed through these areas and waiting for switchboards,
