EXTERIOR PROGRESS

View from aft stbd quarter

• Safety precautions in place (as per safety document present at the yard),

• Electricity, compressed air and extraction are all present on board,

• Access ladders and passerelles are present and availabler on board,

• Transom door is not in place (viewed on yard floor),

• Side bulwarks not in place (both sides),

• Rollbar and mast are missing (not at the yard),

• Gelcoat external surfaces generally in good shiny conditions.  Some touch ups required,

• Glass windows are being installed,

• External furniture is not onboard,

• Teak is not present on decks,

• Outfitting on aft transom has initiated,

• Untifouling process of sanding, priming and coat application has not started yet.

Main deck aft cockpit

•Not much outfitting has yet taken place on aft decks as can be seen form these photos,

•Safety equipment (for the build) is located here,

•The aft sofa has several tool boxes stored on it,

•Outfitting components are yet to be installed on board such as pilot doors, external furniture, external cockpit ceilings, tables, etc.

Main deck side corridors

•These photos depict the conditions of either corridor.

Forward areas

•No major works can be reported in this area, 

•The area is still outfitted for the transportation from the GRP manufacturing facility in Sardinia.  For example the covers for fairleads.

Forward deck areas (part 2)

• Cleats have been positioned but not fixed in place,

• Bridge windows have been installed but yet to be silicone,

• Basement for the rescue crane/jetski is in place as part of the fibreglass produce.

Upper deck

• No significant works can be reported in this area,

• Please note the opening in the deck, which will be used to insert the main engines into the vessel.  Following that, this hatch will be adequately closed.

• Windows are being installed in side corridors leading to fwd areas.

Sun deck

• The fwd wind breaker is being installed,

• The area is used to store the external ceiling panels for latter installation,

• Please note the opening in the deck, which will be used to insert the main engines into the engine room.  Following that, this hatch will be adequately closed in order to continue with outfitting of these areas,

• Hard top and mast are not installed and we did not view them at the yard,

• Apart from this, there is no significant progress to report in this area.

Aft swimming platform

• Piping has been installed in side areas,

• Wooden bulkhead has been installed together with top wood areas
