TECHNICAL SPACES

Engine Room

•Pins for insulation are installed throughout the engine room,

•Insulation lagging is proceeding on the fwd bulkhead and is proceeding aft on the side shell in order for main apparatus (generators and switchboards) to be installed,

•Deck hatches are open in order to install main engines throught the decks (Engines are programmed for installation in January 2023).

Engine Room

•Main engine exhaust cowlings are in place and have been insulated,

•Sea cocks and relative piping has been installed,

•Engine room flooring structure is being installed

•Main piping and manifolds are installed,

•Deck and bulkhead penetrations are done,

•Pre-allignment of shaft line is done.

Engine Control Room

•This is the main access into the engine room areas,

•Pins for insulation are installed throughout the engine room,

•Noise suppression panels are being installed on the aft bulkhead,

•As per the engine room, they yard has undertaken bulkhead penetrations outfitting,

•Cable trays have been installed,

•N.B.:  Cables appear in a mess, and we have indicated this to the yard representative.  We understand they are waiting for the switchboards for final cabling and completion.

Main Tender Garage

•Piping penetrations have initiated, particularly to the fwd engine control room and engine room,

•No further significant progress can be reported in this area.

Stern Technical Spaces

•Flooring structure has been installed

•Piping is being routed into these areas

•Cable trays are installed for cabling routing,

•Bonding plates have been installed.
