Progress Report DECEMBER 07 2020

GENERAL SITUATION

The Yacht has been hauled out of the water and is currently located inside one of the main shed’s at the Baglietto facility in La Spezia.

The Yacht is well supported with keep blocks and side supports.

There are minor sighs of marine growth on the hull’s underwater sections, all of which will be cleaned up and removed, and repairs carried out ahead of the re-launching f vessel.  We will indicate that partially wasted undoes should also be replaced for new at this time.

Works continue with the swimming pool installation, painting, as well as ongoing exterior works continue.

The schedule of launching the vessel will remain at this next meeting with yourselves and the yard personnel at the beginning of December.  At this point, we would advise that the relaunching of vessel should not take place this side of the new year.  It makes no sense to do this, simply just to achieve a sea trail date and stage payment request.  See the Yacht safe inside the shed and allow (push if needed) for the yard to complete all exterior works including the paint and fairing.  This seems to just be dragging on.

EXTERIOR

Painting works continue to be worked on.  The bridge wing installations appear almost complete and now require the actual painting process to commence.

Teak deck completion on the external areas is near completed, with upper deck areas laid and boarded.

The swimming Pool now has all of its external components fitted. The external areas are coming towards the final stages of their initial filler/fairing application.  The inspection hatches and equipment doors have been templated and are in the same set of outfitting as the rest of the pool area.

This swimming pool area is currently isolated from the rest of the Yacht by a temporary tented area.

INTERIOR

We are into the final outfitting details in almost all areas.  There is nothing significant to report in these areas other than to say that works continue.  The wheelhouse is probably the only area with mentioning outside of the aft. Technical areas (covered later).  Progress seems slow in the wheelhouse area.  Most of the works are taking place with the electrical/cabling installation.  Once completed, only then will the furniture take form.  I will say again as I have highlighted several times (and the Captain) the adjustments to the touch screens hasn’t materialised. We will continue to push for this.

All other areas, where completed are being covered in protective sheeting, that includes beds, inner walls and partitions.

ENGINEERING

The main focus of the work in this department has been the beach club and tender garage areas.

A good deal of progress has been made in both these areas.  The tender garage has undergone it’s coating system application.

The beach club second and third stage carpentry and cabinetry are taking place.  The side walls and final deck fitting is working progress with templates then in preparation for the installation of the teak decking system and high-end wall materials.

The overhead supports are all in place, with various cables and other electrical components still being run.  The various overhead panels are not yet installed, but these will be the next stage of outfitting once the electrical works are completed.
