Introduction

• During the month of December C596 has been made ready to leave Turkey and to be towed to Carrara, arriving on the 14th December 2022.

• C596 stayed along side in Carrara to go through a few shipyard tests before moving her to the floating dock and lifted out of the water to then be moved into the new Shed 4.

• During this early stage the boat will be cleaned and made safe ready for works to commence in the New Year.

Preparation is made to get 596 ready for her journey to Carrara.

596 Arrived on the 10th December 2022

After a wet arrival in Carrara 596 was unloaded of her main mast and other items before she had shipyard tests:

• Draft checks

• Stability Test

• Incline Tests

OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS THE BOAT WILL BE CLEANED, SAFTEY RAILS INSTALLED AND START INTERIOR TECHNICAL AREAS IN THE NEW YEAR
